AAMB travels to Michigan State on Nov. 7-8

Wednesday, November 5, 2008

The “All-American” Marching Band’s annual fall trip will be to Michigan, Nov. 7-8, to perform at the Michigan State football game. On Friday, Nov. 7, the band will stop in South Bend to play a free noon concert at the Football Hall of Fame, and students will have a chance to visit the museum. The band will continue on to Okemos, MI, (home to AAMB trumpet Caitlin Stansell) where they will present a 7 p.m. (recently changed from 7:30 pm) public show at Okemos High School, 2800 Jolly Rd. (recently changed from 4406 N. Okemos Rd.)  Band parents from the school will provide host families for our students. Football game day activities in East Lansing will consume the day on Nov. 8 and the band will head back to West Lafayette following the conclusion of the game.
