Saturday recital victim of concert misprint in JC

The final Chamber Music Recital of the 2007-08 Purdue Bands & Orchestra season will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 26, in University Church, North and Grant streets in West Lafayette.

The time and location printing in Friday’s TGIF of the Journal and Courier were incorrect!

This recital features a chance to hear the 2008 Sudler Prize in the Arts winner Andrew Keller on clarinet. He will be featured in the Mozart “Concerto for Clarinet K 622” and will perform deWailly’s “Aubade” with flutist Grace Pillari and oboe player Anna Bremer.

Works by string quartet by Shostakovich and Beethoven are among the other works on the program. Amy Brandfonbrener and Sharron Howard coach the student ensembles appearing on the concert.
