Florida trip successful; auditions scheduled

The Purdue twirlers and Golduster Dance Team traveled to Orlando, FL, Feb. 15-18 to represent the Purdue in various performance venues. The trip included participation in the SpectroMagic night parade in the Magic Kingdom, an outdoor stage performance in Downtown Disney, as well as competition for the twirlers in the Wide World of Sports Complex. The Purdue twirlers earned three 1st placings and two 2nd placings in their team competition events.

Auditions for next year’s Twirling Team will be Saturday, April 12 while Golduster Dance Team auditions will take place on Saturday, April 26. Contact Alisha Kuckartz at alishak@purdue.edu or visit www.purdueperformers.com for more specific audition information.
