Concert time change for Windworks I

The Purdue Bands faculty has agreed to change the time of a Feb. 24 concert to allow musicians to play both the final Purdue women’s home basketball game of the season, where band seniors are recognized, and the concert. The new time for Windworks I is 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at the Long Center.

Both bands featured at the concert – Pam Nave’s Varsity Band and Andrew King’s Collegiate Band – have more than 20 members each that perform in Gold and Black Sound. The game starts at 1 p.m. at Mackey and fans are welcomed to follow the musicians to the Long Center for the free 4 p.m. concert.
