Marching band performs at Colts game on Sunday

The “All-American” Marching Band and Purdue’s Varsity Glee Club will perform Sunday, Nov. 4, during the Indianapolis Colts game against the New England Patriots in the RCA Dome.
Members of the Varsity Glee Club will sing the National Anthem prior to kickoff. The “All-American" Marching Band will take the field during halftime and perform a six-minute show titled “Purdue Tradition.” The show features the 343-member band performing formations including the Floating Purdue, Hail Locomotive and the Block P, which turns 100 this year.
The band’s show also will include flag ceremonies featuring “I Am American.” the big bass drum and the solo twirlers – the Golden Girl, Silver Twins and the Girl in Black.
The game will feature the National Football League's only undefeated teams and is scheduled to begin at 4:15 p.m.
The Purdue Band has a long history of involvement in Indianapolis traditions. It has been part of the opening ceremonies at the Indianapolis 500 for 89 straight years, and featured in the 500 Festival Parade since its beginning in 1957.
