Time change for Thrill on the Hill this fall
Friday, September 7, 2007
Join in the fun of “Thrill on the Hill” two hours before kick-off at Slayter Center on all game days, except Oct. 27 Homecoming. This lively concert and pep rally features the Purdue “All-American” Marching Band along with the Purdue Spirit Squad, mascots and special guests.
In the past this event has been held 90 minutes prior to kickoff, but Athletics has asked the Band to do a short concert for tailgaters in Ross-Ade’s north parking lot so adjustments had to be made. If you follow the band from Slayter, they will play in the street outside the End Zone Café before entering the stadium.
You can double your enjoyment before the Sept. 8 Eastern Illinois game and the Sept. 15 Central Michigan game by attending the special Jazz Tailgate Concerts at Slayter Center. Both jazz events will be held at 9a.m. followed by “Thrill on the Hill” at 10 a.m. and kickoff at noon.
