Big Band/Combo Set-up Information

We provide (and strongly encourage you to use) a full Pearl drum set, as well as a piano/keyboard, at each warm-up and performance site. Vibes will also be available at each performance site. All warm-up rooms will have bass amps; YOU MUST PROVIDE any amps needed for the performance site. Soloist microphones will be provided as needed.

Performance configuration for Big Bands will be the standard saxes in front of trombones in front of trumpets. It is highly recommended to use this standard setup but if you desire a special setup then please contact Ishbah Cox at either 765-494-2864 or icox@purdue.edu.

Evening Concerts Information

Friday Evening concert: Delfeayo Marsalis Octet "Sweet Thunder (Duke & Shake)"

Saturday Concerts - Loeb Playhouse:

noon concert:	Purdue Jazz Band featuring trumpeter Lennie Foy and special appearance by Jeff Coffin
5:30p concert:	Purdue Jazz Band with Jeff Coffin (there will be no later evening concert and awards will be announced at this concert)

Cost of tickets included with entry fee.

Since the Hall only seats 1,000 - tickets for each concert must be reserved on a first come basis. If attending, please select the concert time that you will attend along with the number of tickets you will need.
