Big Band/Combo Set-up Information

We provide (and strongly encourage you to use) a full Yamaha drum set with Zildjian cymbals, as well as a piano/keyboard, at each warm-up and performance site. Vibes will also be available at each performance site. All warm-up rooms will have bass amps; YOU MUST PROVIDE any amps needed for the performance site. Soloist microphones will be provided as needed.

Performance configuration for Big Bands will be the standard saxes in front of trombones in front of trumpets. It is highly recommended to use this standard setup but if you desire a special setup then please contact Ishbah Cox at either 765-494-2864 or icox@purdue.edu.
