The fourth, American Music Repertory Ensemble, consists of four to five solo singers backed by a full jazz ensemble and features music from big bands of the 20th century.
Wind Ensemble
Made up of the finest instrumentalists on campus, the Wind Ensemble is a year-round ensemble. In 2006 it made its debut at New York City's famed Carnegie Hall.
Concert Band
Depending on the semester, Purdue offers several concert band options to accommodate players with varying music backgrounds.
While percussionists complement every ensemble in the department, Winter Drumline and Percussion Ensembles that meet in the spring give percussionists a special spotlight for their talents. |
