The supply office is responsible for issuing all of the university owned instruments.  Large instruments such as tubas, sousaphones, baritones, etc. are loaned to students in need of an instrument for marching, concert or athletic band. During posted hours, the Supply staff also does minor repairs and maintenance on both University and personal instruments such as pad replacement and stuck valves, slides and mouthpieces. The office will send major repairs to a local music store. University instruments can be obtained while the student’s instrument is in for repairs. The Supply Office also issues and maintains the lockers in the basement of Elliott Hall of bandsmen who wish to store their instruments at Elliott. All bandsmen who join the office receive basic training in instrument repair for both brass and woodwinds. Students interested in many different types of instruments and repairs are encouraged to join the Supply Office.
