Operations

Operations manages rehearsal and performance logistics for the marching band, concert bands, and jazz bands. Duties include setting up chairs moving equipment for the band events; and loading luggage, equipment, and instruments on band trips. For the marching rehearsals, Ops staff members take care of blocking streets to assure safe passage for the band, and providing water at all practices. Equipment that Ops takes care of includes ladders for the directors, sound system, yard line markers, drum major poles, and any other props used in football pregame or half-time shows.
