The band library is responsible for the organization and distribution of all the music for Purdue Bands & Orchestras. The Library issues and collects the music that is distributed to each athletic, concert and jazz band, as well as the philharmonic and symphony orchestras.  One of its largest responsibilities is preparing and distributing music to the "All-American" Marching Band. This involves preparation starting in the early spring, and continues through the marching season.  In the spring we maintain the music for five concert bands and two orchestras. The Library also holds regular work days to complete large projects for the department. The Library office is a great place for students who are organized and enjoy business-style filing and record keeping.
