The Clothing Office handles all of the uniforms and tuxedoes used by the members of Purdue Bands & Orchestras. During the fall semester, the office issues all uniforms to the marching band and auxiliaries. Tuxedos are issued to the symphonic band, orchestra, the jazz bands and AMRE. In addition, the Clothing Office organizes all of the dry cleaning of garments, handles emergency clothing at football games and makes minor repairs as needed. During the spring semester, the office continues its fall semester duties and conducts an inventory of the office. The inventory and issuing methods have been computerized so officers must be comfortable working with programs like Microsoft Excel. Clothing officers will interact with almost every person in the band department, so the office encourages students with practiced communication skills to join.
