Currently: "I am working as a systems analyst for Packaging Corporation of America. I live in Evanston, IL with my wife Jessica (Grimes) - PE '72. We have two children. Our daughter Katie, born in 1982, graduated from Purdue in 2004 and now lives in Indiapolis with her husband Nick Conner, and their daughter Paige, who was born in 2007. Katie was a Gold Duster for her first two years at Purdue. Nick, who graduated from Purdue in 2003, was in the drum line for his entire time at Purdue. Our son Kelley is still at Purdue, anticipating graduation in 2009. Kelley is a percussionist, who played in marching band for his first two years. He continues to play in the Symphonic Band. I anticipate retiring from my job at PCA in 2009, at which time I'll devote more time to my avocations of playing trombone and bowling. I currently play in the Evanston Symphony Orchestra, along with freelancing around the Chicago area." Richard A. (Rick) Wunder can be contacted at: Back to the Alumni Profiles Page |
