Website Status Update

The functions previously performed by the Office of the University Architect (OUA) are now addressed by Physical and Capital Planning (P&CP), Project Management and Construction (PM&C), and Energy and Engineering Services (EES). The P&CP website is available here.  The Energy and Engineering Services website is available here. A new PM&C website is currently under development, however, essential information will be maintained in this location until the new website is launched. Thank you for your patience as these enhancements are completed.

Client: Housing and Food Services

Scope: A sprinkler system will be installed to improve life safety, and the fire alarm will be upgraded as necessary to support the sprinkler system in Harrison Hall. Air conditioning will be installed in all student rooms, including adequate make-up air to place the building envelope under positive pressure. This project will architecturally upgrade student room closets, window sills, and upgrade student room entry doors and hardware. Areas will be re-plastered and re-painted to accommodate disrupted architectural finishes and modifications. Construction will take place during the summers of 2009, 2010, and 2011.
