Downloading and Installing the Manure Management Planner Software

Note: "Downloading" means copying files to your personal computer from an on-line service, rather than from a floppy disk or CD-ROM.

When you're ready to download the software

Click here to download SetupMMP-0321.exe

The software is distributed as an installation program named SetupMMP.exe. When you click on the above link, your browser will prompt you with a Save As dialog box. In the Save in box, select the folder where SetupMMP.exe should be saved. For example, you might save the file to your computer's Temp folder.

Once you've selected a folder, click the Save button and downloading will begin.

Installing the software after downloading

Once you've successfully downloaded SetupMMP.exe, you're ready to install the software, as follows:

Click the Start button and click Run.
Type c:\temp\setupmmp and click OK. This runs the setup program, which installs the software.

Note: If you downloaded SetupMMP.exe to a different folder, substitute your folder for c:\temp.

Tip: After you've successfully installed the software, you can delete SetupMMP.exe from your hard disk.
