Major Michael Miller

Major Michael Miller

Operations Flight Commander, AFROTC Detachment 220, Purdue University, West Lafayette IN is responsible for recruiting, training, motivating and counseling highly-qualified young men and women as prospective Air Force officers. He serves as the AS100 Instructor, Operations Flight Commander, liaison to Civil Air Patrol, and Silver Wings Advisor. Major Miller was commissioned through the Air Force OTS program in 2000. He has served in both Acquisition Program manager positions as well as Financial Management positions at various levels in the wing and major command. Prior to assuming his current position, he was deployed with the Army to Kandahar Afghanistan as the Resource Manager in charge of funding southern and western Afghanistan under United States Forces – Afghanistan (USFOR-A).

Recruiting Flight Commander , AFROTC Detachment 220, Purdue University, West Lafayette IN is responsible for recruiting, training, motivating and counseling highly-qualified young men and women as prospective Air Force officers.

Capt Cole, a prior service Airman, served as a computer operator from 1991-2006, attaining the rank of technical sergeant. He was accepted into the Airman’s Education and Commissioning Program where he earned his commission through the Air Force ROTC program at the University of West Florida in 2006, entering the Air Force as a developmental engineer. During his last assignment Capt Cole was in the 92nd Information Squadron at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. There he led network security assessments against Air Force base networks and systems serving as a Network Security Engineer and Assessment Operations Flight Commander.

Education Flight Commander, AFROTC Detachment 220, Purdue University, West Lafayette IN is responsible is for recruiting, training, motivating and counseling highly-qualified young men and women as prospective Air Force officers. He serves as the AS200 Instructor and Education Flight Commander.

Captain Sathasivam is a 2009 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. Upon commissioning through AFROTC he attended Intelligence Technical training in Goodfellow AFB, TX where he earned his follow on assignment to Kadena AB, Japan. There he served as the Chief of Intelligence to the 1st Special Operations Squadron.

Staff Sergeant Bernardo Reyes IV

Staff Sergeant Bernardo Reyes IV

NCOIC, Knowledge Operations, AFROTC Detachment 220, Purdue University, West Lafayette IN, is responsible for recruiting, training, motivating and counseling highly-qualified young men and women as prospective Air Force officers. He serves as the IT Manager, Records Management Program Administrator, Honor Guard Advisor, Personal Reliability Program Manager and manages all DODMERB and commissioning physicals throughout the year for all Air Force cadets at Purdue University. Sergeant Reyes hails from San Antonio, TX and entered the Air Force in February 2003. He is currently working on his Associate’s Degree in Information Management through Community College of the Air Force. During his last assignment, Sergeant Reyes served as the NCOIC of Knowledge Operations in the 802nd Mission Support Group at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.

Staff Sergeant Jigar Patel

NCOIC, AFROTC Detachment 220, Purdue University, West Lafayette IN, is responsible for recruiting, training, motivating and counseling highly-qualified young men and women as prospective Air Force officers. He serves as the Cadet Financial Manager, Scholarship/Tuition Program Manager and Commander’s Support Staff (CSS) NCO. TSgt Patel entered the Air Force and went through Basic Military Training in December 2005. He received his Associates degree’s from the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) and Central Texas College and attained his Bachelor’s degree at Park University in 2012. During his last assignment, TSgt Patel was the Customer Support Element Supervisor in the 49th Force Support Squadron at Holloman AFB, New Mexico.

Staff Sergeant Nathaniel Turner

NCOIC, Personnel Programs, AFROTC Detachment 220, Purdue University, West Lafayette IN, is responsible for recruiting, training, motivating and counseling highly-qualified young men and women as prospective Air Force officers. He is responsible for commissioning, security clearances, categorization, and Field Training/POC selection throughout the year for all Air Force cadets at Purdue University. Sergeant Turner hails from Memphis, TN and entered the Air Force in April 2007. He is currently working on his Associate’s Degree in Human Resources through Community College of the Air Force (CCAF). During his last assignment, Sergeant Turner served as the NCOIC of Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) Mobilizations in the Readiness Management Group (RMG), Air Force Reserve Command at Robins AFB, Georgia.
