Major Michael Miller
Operations Officer, AFROTC Detachment 220, Purdue University, West Lafayette IN is responsible for recruiting, training, motivating and counseling highly-qualified young men and women as prospective Air Force officers. He serves as the AS300 Instructor, Recruiting Flight Commander, Education Flight Commander, liaison to Civil Air Patrol, and Silver Wings Advisor. Major Miller graduated from the University of Maryland and received his commission from the United States Air Force Officer Training School in 2000 at Maxwell AFB. During his last assignment, Major Miller was the Civil Engineering budget officer at Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott AFB, IL.
Captain Jennifer Law
Operations Flight Commander, AFROTC Detachment 220, Purdue University, West Lafayette IN, is responsible for recruiting, training, motivating and counseling highly-qualified young men and women as prospective Air Force officers. She serves as the AS100 Instructor, High School Scholarship Program Monitor, Arnold Air Society Liaison, Test Control Officer and Public Affairs Officer. Capt Law was commissioned through the Air Force ROTC program at the University of Michigan in 2003 and received her Master’s degree from the University of Maryland University College in 2008. During her last assignment Capt Law was a Flight Commander in the 1st Combat Communications Squadron at Ramstein AB, Germany.
Staff Sergeant Robert Sawtell
NCOIC, Knowledge Operations, AFROTC Detachment 220, Purdue University, West Lafayette IN, is responsible for recruiting, training, motivating and counseling highly-qualified young men and women as prospective Air Force officers. He serves as the IT Manager, Records Management Program Administer, Honor Guard Advisor and manages all DODMERB and commissioning physicals. Sergeant Sawtell enlisted in September 2000 from his hometown Valparaiso, IN. He is currently working on his CCAF degree. During his last assignment Sergeant Sawtell was the lead Information Manager for the Commandant of Cadets at the United Stated Air Force Academy, CO
Staff Sergeant Jigar Patel
NCOIC, Personnel Programs, AFROTC Detachment 220, Purdue University, West Lafayette IN, is responsible for recruiting, training, motivating and counseling highly-qualified young men and women as prospective Air Force officers. He serves as the Cadet Financial Manager, Scholarship/Tuition Program Manager and Commander’s Support Staff (CSS) NCO. SSgt Patel entered the Air Force and went through Basic Military Training in December 2005. He received his first Associates degree from the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) in 2008, and received his second degree from Central Texas College. During his last assignment SSgt Patel was the Customer Support Element Supervisor in the 49th Force Support Squadron at Holloman AFB, New Mexico.
Technical Staff Sergeant Shakeyna Holt
NCOIC, AFROTC Detachment 220, Purdue University, West Lafayette IN, is responsible for recruiting, training, motivating and counseling highly-qualified young men and women as prospective Air Force officers. She is responsible for commissioning, security clearances, categorization, and Field Training/POC selection throughout the year for all Air Force cadets at Purdue University. Sergeant Holt is from Long Island NY and enlisted in the Air Force in April 1999. She received her first Associates degree from the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) in 2010, and received her second CCAF in May 2011. She is also working on her Bachelors in English. During her last assignment Sergeant Holt was the NCOIC of Career Development at Keesler AFB, Mississippi.
