English Composition Placement
Placement in ENGL 106 and 108 is based on a student’s achievement scores composite and SAT-verbal scores. The SAT score should be used if an English composite is not available. The composite score is on the student information label and on screen 2A of the Student Information System (SITP).
ENGL 106
- SAT- Crital Reading less than 670 or ACT English less than 30
- Engl 10600-I## designed for international students who speak English as a second language
- 106R is exclusively for students in Learning Communities
ENGL 108
