Changes in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Programs
The pre-pharmacy and pharmacy programs are changing. These changes, including curriculum changes, can be viewed on the School of Pharmacy website. Additionally, we want your students to know that applying to pharmacy school, and a career in pharmacy, is a unique and excellent option after completing a BS degree.
A student who has successfully completed the pre-professional requirements, who has a strong interest and ability in science relating to healthcare and working with people, and who demonstrates fine leadership, volunteer service, and pharmacy career exploration skills may be an excellent candidate for the professional program. Therefore, the PharmD program can be a good fit for students in a variety of majors (e.g., biology, chemistry, health science, agriculture).EDUCATING YOU AND YOUR STUDENTS…
