Technology User Group Update
The Technology Users Group, affectionately called "TUG," began meeting in December 2010. Its mission is to learn about different technologies and then brainstorm how those technologies might be used in advising. So far, we have discussed Hotseat, myPurdue, Facebook, Twitter, Linked-In, Mixable, wikis, and blogs. Future topics include Podcasts, Streaming video, Vodcasts, YouTube, RSS feeds, Blackboard, Doodle, Prezi, Qualtrics, and IPads. Suggestions by the group (and expertise within the group) drives the choice of technology we investigate and discuss.
All are welcome to join. Contact Cara Wetzel at crwetzel@purdue.edu for more information.
