Foreign Language 101 Courses
These courses are designed for students who:

Have fewer than two years of study in the language.

Studied the language five or more years ago.

Are repeating 101 because they earned a grade of D or F. Once a student has completed a higher level in the language, he/she may not go back to repeat a lower level.
On very rare occasions a student may be allowed into a 101 course beginning the second week of the semester upon appeal to the course coordinator.
