Advising Enrolled Students

Minors

The minors listed here are available to students from any Purdue school; however, in order for a minor to appear on a student's official transcript, the faculty of the student's major school must have approved it. The Office of the Registrar maintains the minor program of study codes.

Agriculture

Offers minors in Agricultural Systems Management, Animal Sciences, Entomology, Farm Management, Food and Agribusiness Management, Food Science, International Studies in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environmental Science, and Wildlife Science. All are open to students in any major, except to students in School of Agriculture majors with the same name.

Consumer and Family Sciences

The College of Consumer and Family Sciences offers minors in Child Development and Family Studies, Family Business, Foods and Nutrition, and Nutrition. All are open to students in any major.
Students in the College of Consumer and Family Sciences may pursue a wide variety of minors. The length of time it takes to complete these minors is dependent upon the student's major and the particular minor. Some majors accommodate minors within the regular four-year plan of study. Other combinations require the student to extend their studies beyond four years.


Econominics

A Minor in Economics is offered to students earning degrees outside the School of Management and also to students in the School of Management. Application

Education

Global Studies Minor

Engineering

Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) offers a minor to other Purdue schools' majors. The minor is listed on the transcript for schools that have elected to offer it. The student must complete the coursework required by ECE.

Health Sciences

Minors offered by the School of Health Science and minors offered by other schools and departments.

Liberal Arts

This site lists all of minors offered by the College of Liberal Arts.

For Purdue (non-Krannert) Students

Nursing

No minors offered for other schools' majors.

Pharmacy

No minors offered for other schools' majors. Students earning the Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences are encouraged to pursue a minor or specialization.

Science

These minors are available to College of Science students.

Technology

End- User Computing Minor

Organizational Leadership Minor

Veterinary Medicine
