Advising Enrolled Students

Introductory Courses

Students who are looking for more information about a certain major and the careers to which it leads may be interested in taking an introductory course, offered by many departments to all Purdue students. See course descriptions at the online course information Web site .

An additional resource is the Boilermaker Network , maintained by the Undergraduate Studies Program. It provides contact information of Purdue students who have volunteered to discuss their academic experiences with students who are looking for information about majors at Purdue. Talk With A Pro is composed of a group of professionals representing diverse selections of career fields nationwide who are volunteering to discuss, via e-mail, questions about the career/profession they have chosen.
