| Audit Process
Early in the semester, the Office of the Registrar sends to each school a list of candidates for graduation, compiled from the responses to question 6 ("Do you expect to receive a degree upon completion of the above term?") on Form 23. The school is asked to return this list with corrections and additions and also to provide a list of students participating in cooperative education and honors programs.
Advisors complete preliminary audits of each student's academic record by mid-semester. The Registrar notifies students of any changes by mail. Final audits for May graduation are completed before the commencement date, so that students who complete the degree requirements may receive their diplomas at the ceremony. For August and December graduations, diplomas are mailed to the students within a month of commencement. Accuracy in completing the final audit is imperative.
