Campus Daily Visits

The Office of Admissions offers four daily campus visit opportunities Monday-Friday throughout the year (with a few exceptions between academic sessions) and one campus visit on Saturdays during the academic year.

To schedule a visit, contact Admissions, (765) 494-1776 or TTY (765) 496-1373, admissions@purdue.edu, or register online. In general, reservations should be made at least two weeks in advance. However, on school holidays, Saturdays, and peak visit seasons (mid to late summer and spring break), visits dates can fill a month or more in advance.

Visits include a 45-minute presentation followed by a 90-minute walking tour of campus and University Residences. Check out the University Calendar (or see below) for tour schedules.

Eastern Time
Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, is on Eastern time (same time as New York) throughout the year.

Customize your visit:

• Attend a class.
• Schedule a meeting with an advisor within the colleges or schools in which you are interested.
• Shadow a current Purdue student.
• Eat in one of our award winning dining courts.
• Attend an on-campus athletic event or artistic performance.
• Visit the Recreational Sports Center.
• Check out educational pricing on computer equipment at the Information Technology at Purdue (ITaP) shopping facility.
• Students interested in Engineering may schedule an Engineering Information Session.

Campus tours begin at the Office of Admissions, Room 109 Schleman Hall. Get directions to Campus. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing appropriate to Indiana's seasonal weather.

Admissions Visit Schedule

Those planning to attend an Engineering Information Session and an Admissions visit on the same day should not choose the 9:45 a.m. Admissions visit time. The times of these tours conflict with the Engineering Information Session.
