Purdue's For Me Agenda
7:45 - 9:45 a.m.
Park in the North Stadium Lot and take the shuttle bus to Stewart Center. The shuttle will stop running at 9:45 a.m.
8:00 - 9:20 a.m.
Check-in at the west entrance of Stewart Center. Head to the Information Fair to speak with staff and students about financial topics, housing, orientation, testing, student life and more.
Attend special information sessions to learn more and ask questions about financial aid, University Residences, Boiler Gold Rush, student orientation programs and Learning Communities. If you want to get the most out of your day and attend all of these sessions, be sure to arrive by 8 a.m.
9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Join the disciplinary college to which you are admitted for an information session. Learn more about your area of study from students, faculty, and staff. After the academic session, you will be escorted to a dining court for lunch, so wear comfortable shoes. Indiana weather can change quickly — make sure you're prepared. You will get to enjoy a complimentary meal in a student dining court. Complimentary lunch will be provided for each admitted student plus two guests. Additional guests may pay for lunch at the door of the dining court. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
Noon, 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m.
You will have the option to take a 30-minute tour of a residence hall after lunch at Noon, 12:30 p.m. or 1:00 p.m.
1:00 - 3:45 p.m.
Take time to explore campus. Many campus departments offer visit opportunities and tours. When you check in for the day, you'll receive a comprehensive agenda with a list of participating departments, times and locations.
1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Tour campus with a student ambassador. This is where your comfy shoes come in handy.
Noon - 4:00 p.m.
When you’re ready to leave, the same shuttle buses that brought you to campus will take you to your car. Purdue’s for Me pick-up stops will be located around the academic campus and University Residences.
Recommended Attire - Dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
Time Zone - West Lafayette is in the Eastern Time Zone year round. In April we are on Eastern Daylight Time.
