Freshmen (first-time college students)
High school students and others who will be first-time college students.

International Students
Non-U.S. citizens and individuals with non-immigrant visas.

Transfer Students
College students and those who have taken college classes since their high school graduation.

Nondegree Students
Individuals who live in Tippecanoe County or contiguous counties who want to take Purdue courses without seeking a degree, or individuals who need some college-level coursework to become admissible as degree-seeking students.

Reentry or Intercampus Transfer Students
Reentry students are those who left in good standing from any Purdue campus or location and who now want to reenter that campus or another Purdue location after at least one semester out of school. Intercampus transfer students are current, degree-seeking students at any Purdue location who want to transfer to another Purdue location.

Graduate Students
Individuals who want to pursue a graduate degree.

Continuing Education Students
Individuals who want to take courses for professional or personal development.

High School Freshmen
Ninth graders who want to start preparing for college.
