Wildlife students are introduced to wildlife research, management, and education and are able to apply biological, ecological, economic, and social knowledge to wildlife management issues. Students can specialize in areas such as biology of captive animals, communications, community and population ecology, conservation biology, evolutionary biology, game management, habitat management, human dimensions, quantitative analysis, and wildlife physiology and nutrition. This degree meets the educational standards required by The Wildlife Society to become a certified wildlife biologist.
