The bachelor's degree program in nursing prepares students for leadership positions and graduate education for a lifelong career in nursing. Nursing theory, together with clinical skills, prepares students for patient care in medical-surgical, psychosocial, maternal-child health, and public health nursing. Students are prepared to take the NCLEX, which grants licensure as registered nurses (RN).
