Electrical Engineering Technology

College of Technology

Students and graduates of the electrical engineering technology program can apply their knowledge in a variety of fields, including automotive, biomedical, communication, entertainment, and smart-energy/green energy. They learn to work with microcontrollers, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA), Digital Signal Processors (DSP), embedded Systems-On-a-Chip (SOC), embedded workstations, and distributed computing platforms and more.

Students in this program can apply to participate in a five-year combined bachelor's/master's degree program in electrical engineering technology.

The electrical engineering technology degree is program is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, www.abet.org.

This program is also offered at the Purdue College of Technology statewide locations in Kokomo, New Albany, and South Bend.
