An Overview of Your Day
Morning activities are scheduled and guided. Purdue staff and students will be available throughout the morning to answer questions and help you get where you need to go. We'll also guide you to our residence halls for tours and lunch and afternoon activities will be on your own. Throughout the afternoon, shuttle buses specifically for this event will stop at key, well-identified locations around campus and Purdue representatives will be on the buses to answer questions and help you navigate campus. And, of course, Purdue students all over campus are always willing to help campus visitors find their way.
All times are Eastern Time.
Catch the Bus
Park in the North Stadium Parking Lot and ride our shuttle bus to the Purdue Memorial Union (PMU). Don't be late. The last shuttle will leave the parking lot at 10:00 a.m. and the walk from the stadium to PMU could take 15-20 minutes.

Check in and pick up the day's schedule. Attend the information fair to learn more about student services and activities.

10:30-11:30 a.m. & 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., various locations
All of Purdue's academic colleges and schools will host sessions to provide information about their majors and opportunities for students. Most sessions are offered twice so that students who are exploring multiple interests can attend two different college sessions. There's also a session for those interested in premed, prelaw, predentistry and other preprofessional careers as well as an Exploratory Studies session (a program for Purdue students to explore majors before committing to one). If you want to plan ahead, check out Purdue majors online.
Here's a list of the morning's academic sessions:
Aviation Technology (a department in the College of Technology)
Exploratory Studies (for undecided students); session is offered at 10:30-11:30 a.m. only
College of Health and Human Sciences (see below for individual academic sessions within this college)
Premed, Prelaw, Prehealth Professions (hosted by Purdue's Center Pre-professional Advising); session is offered at 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. only
*College of Health and Human Sciences academic department sessions: Consumer Sciences and Retailing; Human Development and Family Studies; Health and Kinesiology; Health Sciences; Hospitality and Tourism Management; Nursing; Nutrition Sciences; Psychological Sciences; Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences
LUNCH AND RESIDENCE HALL TOURS
11:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m., walk from Stewart Center to residence halls
Lunch is on us, and it's good. (Purdue is ranked among the nation's best for campus food.) If you want to cover a lot of ground in the afternoon, you may have to eat quickly - afternoon activities start at 1:30 p.m. If you want to linger over lunch you're welcome to do that, too. If you're attending only one morning academic session, you can choose the 11:30 a.m. lunch time. If you're attending both morning sessions, the 12:30 p.m. lunch time is for you.
12:15 – 2 p.m. – Buses will shuttle guests between dining facilities and the academic campus (including Stewart Center). Shuttle service from residence/dining facilities ends at 2:00 p.m.
2 – 4 p.m. – Shuttle service continues on the academic campus with stops at key destinations (Stewart Center (STEW)), University Street near Schleman Hall (SCHL)), and a stop at the North Stadium Parking Lot.
Explore campus on your own. A wide variety of activities will allow you to customize your day.
