Making the BIG Decision
Purdue is really close to my hometown, and I knew I wanted to stay close to my parents. Every time I visited Purdue, the faculty and staff were really friendly. I also knew that the pharmacy program is top-notch.
How I Got Involved
- Alpha Lambda Delta Phi Eta Sigma
- National Society of Collegiate Scholars
- Learning Community Ambassador
- Mental Health Association — compeer
- Pharmacy mentor/mentee
- Boiler Gold Rush — team leader
Residence Hall Life
I lived in Harrison Hall. I was part of the Prepharmacy Learning Community, and I really enjoyed the girls I was able to meet, who shared my career goals. Also, the Boiler Connection was great when I was craving late-night Ben & Jerry's.
Most Memorable Purdue Experience
I was a Boiler Gold Rush team leader. It was such an exciting week, and all of the leaders were ecstatic to be back at Purdue. I had a great group of freshmen, and the week was fun because of the Purdue spirit in the air. The multiple fountain runs were memorable, too.
What the Future Holds
I want to be accepted into the Doctor of Pharmacy program at Purdue, earn my PharmD, and specialize in psychiatric pharmacy. |
