Making the BIG Decision
I chose Purdue because it felt right. I was genuinely interested in the courses I would be taking as a student. Each seemed relevant and practical toward earning my degree. Plus, Purdue is highly regarded in the academic and professional world.
How I Got Involved
- Old Masters — evening events co-chair
- CFS Undergraduate Curriculum Committee — student representative
- Boiler Gold Rush — team leader
- Study abroad in Munich, Germany
- Emily Mauzy Vogel Sophomore Leadership Development Conference
- Social Sorority — vice president, chapter relations and standards
Residence Hall Life
I lived in Windsor Halls and loved every minute of it. Windsor is full of charm and was such an inviting place to go back to at the end of the day. The girls on my floor were outstanding and we quickly became our own unique family. We all live on different parts of campus now, but we make it a habit to see each other as often as possible.
Most Memorable Purdue Experience
I studied abroad in Munich, Germany. I spent spring break with a class of 30 students and a great professor, exploring the city. I saw and experienced Munich from more than just a tourist perspective.
What the Future Holds
Once I earn my degree from Purdue, I plan on furthering my education in an accelerated nursing program or attending graduate school to become a developmental therapist. |
