Making the BIG Decision
I was looking into the veterinary medicine program. Purdue has a great one, which really caught my attention. When I visited here, I felt right at home. Everyone was very friendly. When I got here, things just got better.
How I Got Involved
- Helping Paws — member and secretary
- Pre-Vet Club — member
- National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association — member
- Puppy class — volunteer
- Boiler Gold Rush — team leader and supervisor
Residence Hall Life
I lived in Windsor Halls (Duhme Hall) and it was great. I was matched with a great roommate. All the girls were really friendly. We also had some upper-class students living there, so we always had someone to go to if we had questions.
Most Memorable Purdue Experience
Boiler Gold Rush — by far my favorite week of the year. I met my best friends, my fiancé, and I really got to know Purdue. I've participated in BGR every year since my first year.
What the Future Holds
I'll be going to graduate school to get my master's degree in speech-language pathology. After getting my master's, I want to work in a hospital with children. |
