Check Your Application Status

Log in to check your status or complete your application.

Note:  Applicants for the fall 2009 semester will NOT be admitted until December 5 or later. We will begin releasing decisions after 5:00 pm on December 5, 2008. Decisions are not guaranteed by December 5. To ensure thorough evaluation of each application, the Purdue Admissions Committee requires at least 8-10 weeks to make a decision after an application is completed (including receipt of standardized test score and high school transcript).

Understanding Your Application Status

After your application has been processed, when you log in to view your application status, you may see one of the following:

  • Incomplete Items Outstanding
  • Complete Ready for Review
  • Decision Made

Incomplete Items Outstanding

Check the “Requirements” section at the bottom of the Application Summary page to see which required items we may have received and which are still outstanding.  If the “Received” date is blank for any item, we have not yet received or processed the item.

During the peak application processing season (typically from September through December), items may not be recorded for several days - possibly up to three weeks, after we have received them. 

Complete Ready for Review

We have received all required items and your application has been sent to the Admissions Committee for evaluation.

Decision Made

We have received all required items. Your application has been reviewed and a decision has been made.  Once a decision has been released online, applicants will receive official notification in the mail.
