Because of ongoing technical issues students and school personnel are experiencing with the Common Application, Purdue is extending its Early Action application deadline to Friday, Nov. 8.
Fall 2014 freshman applicants who meet the Nov. 8 application deadline will receive full consideration for merit scholarships and the Honors College, and those applying for nursing and veterinary technology now have until Nov. 8 to complete their Purdue applications as well.
Counselors and other school personnel also have until Nov. 8 to submit supporting documentation. If letters of recommendation are not submitted by the new deadline, applications that are otherwise complete will marked as complete for scholarship and deadline purposes. Letters submitted after the deadline will be added to the student’s application when they are received.
Purdue will begin releasing admission decisions on Friday, Dec. 13. The Admissions Committee will make every effort to honor the Dec. 13 release date for all who complete their application by Nov. 8. After Dec. 13, new decisions will be released daily.
