Computing on Campus

You may choose to bring your own computer to campus, and you may use the many computing resources at Purdue. Information Technology at Purdue (ITaP) operates many computing labs, which are located throughout the campus and are open for general student use. The ResNet system allows students to use campus computer resources from their residences, whether on or off campus.

Students who bring their own laptop computers to campus will enjoy Purdue's extensive wireless network. Voted No. 2 in Intel's "Most Unwired College Campuses" survey, Purdue offers wireless access across the academic campus and in common areas of University Residences.

On-campus housing also offers high-speed Ethernet connections within student rooms, and students living off campus can access the Internet via their Purdue student account at no additional cost.
