"Enlighten, Educate, and Entertain…. It’s more than just a slogan at WBAA. Since I travel many miles throughout the WBAA listening area each work day, I can keep informed on local events with AM 920 Magazine. Morning Edition and The World provide national and world news coverage. From 10:00am to noon I listen to The Diane Rehm Show and learn fascinating facts about world events, people and a variety of other interesting subjects. When I get home at the end of the day, I can share what I’ve learned with my children by listening to the program archives online. They are avid listeners of the StoryCorps project. Each Friday, family members, friends, and spouses from across the country interview each other and often they share important life lessons of love, courage, and the importance of family. My children know that education is the key to success. It’s become a regular part of our evening dinner discussion for them to ask, “So, what did you learn from NPR today Mom?”
Individual donations from listeners like the Holderbaum's represent the single largest
source of support for WBAA. With quality programs like
Morning Edition, All Things Considered and classical music,
WBAA invites you to be more inspired and show your support
by making a financial contribution. Radio wouldn't be
the same without WBAA. WBAA wouldn't be the same without
you.

Hi! We are pleased that you would like more information on how you can help support WBAA’s efforts of engaging, educating, and entertaining our community. As you may be aware, WBAA is listener-supported public radio from Purdue University. Listener donations in the form of membership pay for the expenses of carrying a diverse lineup of top-quality programs. When you make a membership contribution to WBAA, your tax-deductible gift supports program favorites like Morning Edition, All Things Considered, or The Diane Rehm Show. It could be that you enjoy tuning in during our Classical Music, Jazz, or the World Café. Or perhaps you listen avidly to Car Talk, A Prairie Home Companion, Sunday Baroque, or This American Life while relaxing on the weekends. No matter if AM 920 or FM 101.3 is your favorite on the dial, we hope you enjoy WBAA.
Financial contributions from listeners and corporate supporters are WBAA’s largest and most reliable source of income. During our last fiscal year, membership contributions and corporate support accounted for almost 48% of our station’s operating budget. When it comes to paying for programming, membership accounts for over 80% of that budget. Your gift, every gift, is vital to WBAA.
Contributions of any amount will be used carefully and are appreciated. If you are able to make a gift at the $120+ level, you will receive the WBAA MemberCard. Pledge now to see all the great thank you gifts WBAA has to offer.
There are three ways that you can donate to WBAA:
Online. Our new pledge page is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Your transaction is simple and secure, and you will have the option to either make a pledge and be billed or use a major credit or debit card to pay for your gift immediately.
Call us. Please call WBAA’s development team weekdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, EDT at 765-494-5920.

If you would like more information about how you can support WBAA besides making a personal contribution, please see our menu for other options including volunteering your time, donating a car through our vehicle donation program, facilitating corporate support, or even considering a planned estate gift to the station.
We strongly encourage you to join forces with WBAA - the time has never been better! Only with your continued support can WBAA continue to meet the needs of our community as they arise.
