New Governance for Student Technology
New Governance for Student Technology
Announced in August 2008
Several new technologies have recently been implemented supporting enterprise student services at Purdue University. Dr. Tom Robinson, Vice President for Student Services, approved a governance model for technology. This model will help insure that operational priorities are in response to strategic priorities, that continuous improvements are made to insure responsiveness to user needs, and that communications are fostered across many organizations at Purdue University.
The following resources explain more about this governance:
- Student Services Technology Governance Overview
- Student Services Technology Steering Committee
- Student Applications Steering Committee
- Student Applications Advisory Committee
- Student Services Distributed Computing Advisory Committee
- Intercampus Integration and Coordination Committee
- Portal Advisory Committee
The Student Services Technology and Assessment department and the Student Systems Competency Center are responsible for executing the priorities established by the governing committees.
