Why did you choose Purdue? I thought it would be cool to go somewhere new, plus the Big 10 atmosphere is unbeatable.
What is a typical day like for you? I go to classes, go home and relax, when I have a job-go there, work on homework, hang out with friends
What was your favorite class? COM 315-Technical Communications; I had a wonderful teacher, and he made the learning environment very fun. I also enjoyed hearing everyone's speeches and views on the industry.
What are your career goals? I hope to become an airport operations specialist, ideally back home in San Diego, but any good sized airport will do, as long as it is near the ocean!
What was your favorite course within your major? AT 369-Air Traffic Control; The class was very hands on, we used computer programs to control aircraft (of course this was all hypothetical).
Describe your most memorable experience at Purdue. Snow Day! The first one (two days) in my entire life at Purdue! It was very exciting to skip class to play in the snow and sled.
Where is you favorite spot on campus? My favorite spot on campus is in the terminal building a the airport. There is an old gate area with huge windows facing the airfield. I love it!
What would you tell prospective students about Purdue? I would tell prospective students that Purdue is a great school with a lot of opportunities waiting to be taken. Also, they should join different organizations/clubs, it is a fantastic way to meet people and make your Purdue career a memorable one.
How has your Purdue experience been so far? My Purdue experience so far has been wonderful. While the Indiana climate has been a bit of a challenge for me, the experiences I have had and the people that I have met here have shaped my college experience into an unforgettable one.
