4/12/96--Dr. Laurent Couetil uses an endoscope to osberve a horse's throat and windpipe opening while the animal exercises on a new high-tech teadmill in Purdue's School of Veterinary Medicine. The endoscope is a flexible tube inserted into one nostril. A tiny camera inside the tube projects images of the horse's throat structures onto the video monitor in background.
