1/30/96--Cary Supalo, a blind chemistry student at Purdue, reads a chemistry test question in Braille and sets up the equation using three-dimensional pieces to model various atoms. A Perkins Brailler, similar to a typewriter, allows him to record his answers in Braille. Click on above to download a (429k) JPEG photo. Color prints of the photo are available.
