10/13/95--JAVA IN JEOPARDY - A female coffee berry borer digs a tunnel in a coffee berry to deposit her eggs. Left unmolested, the bright red coffee berry would dry to form a brown coffee bean. In this case, the insect's larvae will later feed off the berry and reproduce with each other to produce a new generation of pests. Click on photo above to download a (371k) JPEG photo.
