Jischke receives his copy of the Mortar Board calendar from members of the national honor society that recognizes college seniors for achievement in scholarship, leadership and service. The presentation continued a 57-year tradition of the presenting the calendar to the university president. Over those years Mortar Board has given $736,000 in fellowships and awards to Purdue students, staff and student organizations from funds raised by annual sales of the calendar.
