05/01-- Hicham Fenniri uses a scanning probe microscope to study structural features of a self-assembled nanotube obtained from molecules he designed using synthetic organic chemistry techniques. The nanotubes can be tailored to specific dimensions and chemically modified to perform specific tasks.
