Overview
The creation and management of most Mailman Mail Lists is the responsibility of the individual who is the owner of that list. Any individual with a @purdue email address can request a mail list. SSTA will no longer be responsible for creating, deleting or modifying mail lists other than those SSTA owns.

Mail-department mail lists
Student Services Technology & Assessment - Workstation Technology is the owner of all "mail-department@lists.purdue.edu" lists. These lists contain all (staff and student) employees who have been granted access to SSTA resources.

Supported users are added to the "mail-department@lists.purdue.edu" lists when new user accounts are requested using the SSTA "Grant Access to Resources" form. Supported users are removed when requested using the SSTA "Remove Access to Student Services Resources" form.

It is important for SSTA to maintain the integrity of each Departmental Mailing List for purposes of disseminating important technical information to all supported users in a timely manner.
