Purdue University Student Health Center (PUSH)

(765) 494-1700

www.purdue.edu/push

Purdue University Student Health Center (PUSH) is the campus health service. The staff of highly trained, experienced professionals is committed to offering high-quality healthcare. Office visits to the medical clinic are free to all full-time students and on a fee-for-service basis to part-time students and student spouses. PUSH specializes in the treatment of illness and injury, as well as preventive medical care, counseling services, and health education programs. Clinics include General Medical, Urgent Care, Sports Medicine, Women’s Health, Physical Therapy, Allergy and Immunization, and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). Fees are charged for some services, including (but not limited to) lab, x-ray, urgent care, physical therapy, and minor procedures.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

(765) 494-6995

www.purdue.edu/caps

Purdue’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is a great resource. CAPS offers eight confidential counseling sessions per semester (fall and winter) to every full-time enrolled student without any charge. During summer semesters, students can receive up to two counseling sessions per semester with no charge. For more information regarding CAPS and the services they offer, contact them at (765) 494-6995, or at www.purdue.edu/caps.

The University strongly recommends that students be covered by health insurance. Please note that PUSH is considered “out of network, which means that the Health Center does not discount charges for any insurance carrier other than the Student Resources Plan. Therefore, it would be cost-effective to determine if coverage is available through your insurance plan prior to charges being incurred. For more details regarding Student Health Center services, fees, and hours, visit our Web site at www.purdue.edu/PUSH, or call (765) 494-1700.
