Facts About Tobacco

Tobacco on Campus

If you are a smoker, here are a few rules you will have to follow while at Purdue University. Smoking is prohibited in campus buildings and residence halls, while outdoor smoking is only allowed 30 feet away from buildings. Seventy-three percent of Purdue students live smoke-free lifestyles, and West Lafayette is a smoke-free community as of July 1, 2007. If you want to quit smoking, stop by the Student Wellness Office and pick up a free Quit Kit or visit the Web site www.purdue.edu/studentwell for further information.
