Requesting Academic Transcripts

Official transcripts of your academic record are provided free-of-charge by the Office of the Registrar.

  1. Transcripts are available instantaneously at the Kiosk outside Room 45, Hovde Hall, or inside Room 45, Hovde Hall.  Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Be sure to bring photo identification with you when submitting your request.
  2. If you are currently enrolled, you may submit your request directly on SSINFO.
  3. If your request requires special handling, such as being mailed in a special envelope or being accompanied by a certification of status, you should come directly to the Kiosk outside of Room 45, Hovde Hall, so that your request can be handled personally.  If you are not able to come to the Office of the Registrar, you may submit your request by mail (see option 5).
  4. Your signed request may be sent via fax to (765) 494-0570.  Be sure to include your full name, PUID/Student Identification Number, date of birth, dates of attendance at Purdue, the address where you would like the transcripts mailed to, the number of transcripts being requested, and your written signature.  For your convenience, a transcript request form is provided for you to complete and return via fax or mail.
  5. If you cannot submit a request via options 1, 2, 3, or 4 above, you may request your transcript by mail, including the information stated in option 4 above. Send your request to:
Purdue University

If you are currently enrolled in courses and want the grades in those courses to be included on your transcript, or if you will be receiving a degree and want the information about your degree to appear on your transcript, the production of your transcript can be delayed until the end of the academic session when the desired information has been added to your record.

Transcript requests cannot be accepted by e-mail, since a written signature is required. Please direct inquiries to transcripts@purdue.edu or call (765) 494-6165.
