Day on Campus Testing Information.

Students are now required to PRE-REGISTER ON-LINE for the Advanced Credit Exams given by the ODOS Testing Center as listed below. All other exams are administered by the individual departments and do not apply to pre-registration.

Additionally, pre-registration DOES NOT apply to Day on Campus Advanced Credit Testing.

Doors open at the above listed times for the testing sessions. Testing will not begin until all students have been seated. NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED AFTER TESTING STARTS.

Students must bring to the testing site:

  1. A Purdue photo ID with a Purdue ID number
  2. A completed Form 231 signed by an advisor
  3. A registration confirmation emailed to student at time of registration

Calculator restrictions:
Students taking Math 111, 262 and 265 are not allowed a calculator. Math 137-166 students may only use a one or two line non-graphing, non-programmable calculator.Math 220-224 students are restricted to any one line display calculator (no exceptions will be made). For chemistry exams, any type of calculator may be used. For questions regarding these restrictions, please contact the ODOS Testing Center at 494-1146.

Electronic devices are not allowed during testing. This includes cell phones, pagers, PDA's, headsets, ear plugs, recording devices, translators, etc. Please do not bring these items as it could jeopardize your test being scored for credit.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT ADVANCED CREDIT TESTING

How do I register for Advanced Credit Exams?
On-line registration is only required for the following exams administered by the ODOS Testing Center: Math, Biology and Chemistry exams. All other exams are given by the individual departments and do not require pre-registration via our web site. They may, however, only be given on specific dates or require an appointment with the administering department. Please contact the individual departments for this information.

Students must bring a completed Form 231 - signed by an Academic Advisor, a photo I. D., #2 pencils, and a calculator if relevant (please see calculator restrictions listed above).

Are there study guides available to prepare for the exams?

How many exams may I take and is there a fee?
You may take as many as you and your advisor agree are appropriate, but only one per testing session. There is no fee.
